Position
Database Administrators (SQL, Oracle, DB/2)
Main Job Duties:
  1. Administer and support all production and test databases.
  2. Perform database performance tuning, capacity planning and database maintenance.
  3. Pro-actively monitor, pre-empt, diagnose, troubleshoot and rectify database/systems related problems to ensure maximum uptime.
  4. Support new IT Projects which require database implementation.
Job Requirements:
  1. A good degree in Computer Science, Database Management, Information Technology, Information System, Engineering, Science or its equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant working experience in an Enterprise environment.
  2. Two years database administration experience on at least one of the followings:
    • Oracle,
    • DB/2,
    • MS SQL,
    • Sybase or Informix.
  3. Hands-on experience in Capacity Planning and Performance Tuning Databases.
  4. Ability to work independently and as a team, ability to adapt quickly, and possess positive attitude.
