Software Engineers (J2EE)
Main Job Duties:
  1. Participate in Client-server, 3 and N-Tier Architecture Application development projects.
  2. Conduct business requirement studies, analysis, design and programming tasks to achieve the desired results expected by the business, within the budget and project schedules.
  3. Develop test plans and cases, as well as, the technical and functional documentations according to the adopted methodologies.
  4. Collaborate or partner vendors/partners (if any) to ensure that the system’s delivery meets the business specifications.
  5. Provide post-implementation maintenance and support.
Job Requirements:
  1. A good degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information System, Info-communications, Engineering, Science or its equivalent with at least 2 years of working experience in Java technologies (J2EE and/or J2ME) such as Applets, JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, Struts, Portlets, Java Clients, MIDP and Web Services. Diploma holders with at least 3 years of relevant working experience will be considered on merit basis.
  2. SCJA or SCJP certifications will be preferred.
  3. Expertise in databases (Oracle, DB/2 or MS SQL), Application Servers (Websphere or Weblogic), Security and Directory will be preferred.
  4. Strong object-oriented programming skills, CORBA and highly analytical.
  5. A self-initiated and pro-active team player who can work with minimal supervision.
  6. Those with more than 4 years of working experience will be considered for senior roles.
