Application Solution Architects
Main Job Duties:
  1. Identify, embrace and architect the relevant technology and application according to the organization’s IT Architecture to deliver the best solution to meet the business objectives.
  2. Conduct studies and prototyping the solutions to identify potential challenges and gaps of the application architecture and design.
  3. Architect and consolidate current applications onto a common IT Architecture, incorporating the right middleware.
  4. Collaborate or partner vendors/partners (if any) to ensure that the solution’s delivery meets the business specifications.
  5. Provide technical consultancy to the application team to achieve the desired results expected by the business, within the budget and project schedules.
  6. Pro-actively follow technology trends, evaluate and recommend to the organization the right technologies which will complement the business needs.
Job Requirements:
  1. A good degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information System, Info-communications, Engineering, Science or its equivalent with at least 8 years of working experience, of which 3 years of relevant working experience is required.
  2. Have participated in at least 5 full SDLC of medium or large scale Applications.
  3. Strong Technical expertise in Technologies like MS.NET, J2EE, Databases, Security, Directory, Middleware and Web Services.
  4. Technology leadership and savvy, with good presentation skills.
  5. Highly analytical and possess good troubleshooting skills.
  6. A self-initiated and pro-active team player who can work with minimal supervision.
  7. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
